Utility CO2 Mitigation Markets provides forecasts and analysis of carbon capture, biomass co-firing and efficiency improvements to reduce greenhouse gases

N043 Fossil and Nuclear Power Generation: World Analysis and Forecast has been updated with the latest country by country nuclear, coal, gas and oil forecasts. We will soon make available tracking systems for nuclear and gas which mirror the one on coal (42EI). Information the energy reports are found at http://home.mcilvainecompany.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=57

New services in cement include webinars February 12 and March 12 on MACT and tracking of cement plant projects in the air market reports (fabric filter, NOx, scrubber, and precipitator). The End User Directory has also been updated with email addresses of cement plant people in the U.S. and Europe. Bob Mcilvaine will be a speaker at the IEEE PCA workshop on March 30.

The effort to take market forecasting to a whole new level is continuing. In the Universal Product Identification System each pump application in coal fired plants has been identified along with flows and pressures. As a result we are now displaying forecasts of numbers of pumps and flow for boiler feedwater , cooling and other pumps in each country through 2020. This provides suppliers with a strategic tool which is far better than just a pump revenue forecast. The same information for nuclear, oil and gas will be posted shortly.

The industry by industry and unit by unit approach will be applied to other industries and all the market reports. We have completed a forecast of the semiconductor industry through 2015 with the number of wafer starts, material purchases, semiconductor revenue, and equipment purchases for each country. We also have the liquid and air flows and energy consumption for ultrapure water, recirculating air, solvent air exhaust etc.

It will take some months for all this to come together. But we can provide custom studies using this information in the interim.
